Bradmer Pharmaceuticals is a biopharmaceutical company established in 2005 to participate in what is projected to be a revolution in the treatment of cancer in our immediate future.

 

From the time Hippocrates made his first observations about tumors in the 4th century B.C., progress in the war against cancer has been slow.  The Greek “Father of Medicine” deemed the disease “karkinos” – meaning crab – because of the visual similarity between certain tumors and the protruding claws of a crab.   It has only been in the last 50 years when our understanding of the disease in its many forms has advanced to the molecular level.  And it has only been in the last 15 years that the computer revolution has enabled modern drug design methods that are producing precise new therapies for various tumor types.  It is our belief that the next 25 years will yield significantly more progress in the fight against cancer than the last 2500 years combined. 

 

With its assembled team of oncology drug development experts and innovative new therapies, Bradmer Pharmaceuticals has taken its position on the front line of the war against cancer.  The Company’s first product candidate, Neuradiab, invented by world-class scientists at Duke University, represents a significant advance in the treatment of certain brain cancers.
