PATENTS
Bradmer Pharmaceuticals is committed to achieving clinical breakthroughs for cancer patients, as well as commercial success for our investors. To that end, the Company aggressively manages its intellectual property portfolio both internally and via expert external service providers.
With regard to the Company’s initial product candidate, Neuradiab, Bradmer Pharmaceuticals believes that it has achieved a patent position that provides freedom to practice its technology and the meaningful exclusion of would-be competitors through the execution of an exclusive license with Duke University. The licensed patent portfolio includes five issued patents and sixteen pending patents that address Neuradiab’s composition of matter, its intended uses, combination therapy methods, proprietary dosimetry methods, related diagnostic applications, and other associated technologies.
In addition, Bradmer Pharmaceuticals has enhanced this enviable initial patent position with the attainment of Orphan Drug Status for Neuradiab in the United States, thus affording the Company further exclusive marketing rights. The Company is seeking a similar designation in Europe.
